Mounting
Our Finishing Department can complete your prints for presentation or framing. The advantage to having us do your finish work is we provide the same high quality through the entire process.
Mounting - Prints are adhered to the backing using a 3mil, heat assisted, archival adhesive substrate. We offer two types of backing.
- Illustration Board - a smooth white archival art board, 3/32" thick. It is our more economical mount. We do not recommend this material for larger prints.
- Gatorfoam® - Is available in either black or white and has an inner core of expanded polyethylene covered with a thin coat of pressed wood board. It is lightweight with excellent durability. We offer material thickness from 3/16" to 1 inch.
Flush Mounting - the print is mounted on a board of
the same size.
Border Mounting - the print is centered on a larger
board with dimensions that will accommodate many standard size mats
and frames.

Laminating gives your artwork protection and a professional look. Laminating films are flexible PVC substrates, coated on one side with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. We offer a standard 3ml matte finish. The film is moisture resistant and incorporates a UV coating to increase the longevity of the print. In areas of highly reflective light, the matte finish is ideal. Additional laminate finishes are availble upon special request.
