Denver Digital Archive provides a gateway for creating, managing and ordering from your on-file portfolio. The service is reserved for professional photographers who are regularly restocking their print inventory. Print orders can be placed 24 hours a day and usually ship within 1 to 2 days. To ensure the security of your images, personalized accounts are protected with encrypted password technology. While this is an online service, customer service representatives are also available during normal business hours to assist you with any photographic needs.

 

How Denver Digital Archive Services Works

Account Setup
The first step is to obtain a secure account ID and password for Denver Digital Archive Services. Although today's technology allows this to be accomplished online, we prefer a phone call to discuss any special services you may need.

Creating Your Image Portfolio
After establishing your account, our technicians will organize your images into an online portfolio. There are several ways to submit your images to us.

  1. Using the Web address, FTP.Theslideprinter.com you can upload images into your personal directory on our file servers. We will automatically receive an email alerting us to update your portfolio. For information on how to upload your files refer to our FTP Uploading Instructions in Tech Tips & Profiles.
  2. Using our postage paid mailers, you can mail us your files that have been burned to CD. We will copy your images onto our servers and return your disks.
  3. At your request, new images that we scan can automatically be added to your portfolio.


Online Viewing and Ordering
From our home page click on Denver Digital Archive. After logging in using your account ID and password, your image portfolio will be displayed. Thumbnails of your images will be displayed on the left side of the screen. Cliking on the thumbnails will bring up a larger image on the center of yur monitor. The name of your images can be displayed by placing your curser on the thumbnails. This image description should be used when placing your order.

To place an order click on the Order Form Icon at the top of the thumbnails. Type in the name of the image, select print size and paper surface using the drop down menues. Type in the number of prints for each image and the pricing will automatically be caculated. On all print sizes there is a 1st print price for each image. This should always be used for the first print of each image if you are ordering less than 10 prints. If you are ordering 10 or more you can select the 10 or more prints to get online quantity discount. Ordering options are currently available for standard print sizes. If your order needs print sizes or services that are not listed, contact our Customer Service Department and we will gladly assist you with your order.

Billing
Billing options are established with your account setup.

Shipping
All orders will be returned by either First Class mail or Ground UPS, depending on size and/or monetary value, at no additional charge. UPS will only deliver to a physical street address. Please include suite and apartment numbers, when applicable. Shipping will take approximately 3 to 5 business days, depending on destination.
Priority Shipping: If you require expedited shipping, we can return your order, at your expense, via Fed Ex.

  • Fed Ex Priority (overnight AM delivery)
  • Fed Ex Standard (overnight PM delivery-not available to all destinations)
  • Fed Ex Economy (two days)
  • Fed Ex Express Saver (three days)

Shipping Damage
If your order is damaged in transit, please contact our Customer Service Department immediately. We will provide you with instructions for having your order reprinted at no charge.

Online Order Return Policy
Customer accepts full responsibility for results when submitting files as “Print Ready”. We recommend viewing our Tech Tips and Profiles section for information that will help you create the best results. While digital imaging has brought the photofinishing industry to a new level of quality, with it also came many new variables. Denver Digital Imaging Center has set stringent standards for maintaining consistent print quality. Our printers, monitors, scanners and processors are constantly monitored to maintain lab standard. If you are performing your own color and density adjustments, the possibility exist that what you see on your monitor will differ slightly from the print you receive from us. Online Order Security Policy
Denver Digital Imaging Center maintains a high level of security for our online services. All client accounts are password protected for the security of your images. To maintain this protection, we advise keeping your password and logon id in a safe place. Denver Digital Imaging Center is not liable for unauthorized use of your account.
